US Investment bank firm RW Baird have recognised ALISON as a rapidly growing e-learning company to watch and was recently profiled in the company’s Education Services research publication. The research acknowledges ALISON’s strong growth prospects in the highly dynamic online education emerging.
The report highlights Ambient Insights research which estimates that the global self-paced e-learning market amounted to $27 billion in 2009 with demand projected to grow 13% annually over the next five years to roughly $50 billion by 2014. The report recognises that ALISON can build scale quickly via its free online offerings and viral marketing.
The RW Baird paper notes a number of key features and functionalities which ALISON can leverage to ensure future growth in the e-learning market including quality content, self-certification and flash testing. ALISON offers over 150 courses in a variety of categories such as IT, Business, Health, and English language, among others.
